I believe that we are two separate genders and we each experience life differently. So I don’t believe mean should have to experience pregnancy, nor do I think that they should make out like it is no big deal to just pop a baby out of our bodies.

I think all men should be made to learn what girls naturaly start to learn as young as a toddler we are still programing our boys and girls that we have dif roles in life why cant boys learn how to do laundry or girls how to fix a chain on a bike

Every man is different in his own way. My husband pays attention to my growing belly, talks to it, cares about how I feel thru out the day, but yet he doesn’t care much about the baby items such as furniture and wardrobe. He tells me that that is my depertment. All he really cares is that we are both healthy and happy at the end of the whole pregnancy and delivery. I don’t mind it much beacause he helps out when the baby comes. He’ll stay with the baby when needed, regardless how scared he could be. But will call a hundred times with questions………………….LOL!!

The checklist is a great idea, and it works! My husband never remembers anything unless I write it down…

I feel like he didn’t really answer the first question. I think the implied question is that if a dad doesn’t show interest in the pregnancy, does that mean he won’t show interest when it’s born? All he really said to that is "yeah, he should just go to baby classes."

I think that the checklist would be a great idea for my husband. He’s brilliant, but loves to have things organized, and I can see him get a bit overwhelmed and panicked when faced with the unfamiliar and important task of taking over the care of an infant for the first time. A checklist (with step-by-step instructions for a lot of things) would put his mind at ease and take some pressure off of him.

The advice about the checklist for daddy keeping baby alone for the first time was great, but what if he feels that you think he is incapable of doing a good job because you made a list out for him??
