I LOVE music. My husband and I met at a music festival, he proposed at Red Rocks Amphitheater, and I have been to many a live show. There is music that will connect with you in any mood and will resonate with you at different points and times in your life.

My husband and I will be welcoming our first baby soon, so baby names are a big topic of conversation in our home. My musical tastes vary greatly, so I thought it would be fun to see what baby names I could find in songs from some of my favorite musicians!

Check out these artists for baby name inspiration.

Ramona – Sublime, “Waiting For My Rucca”

I'm a big Sublime fan, and I just love the bass in this song. I find this name to be unique and oh so adorable!

For your little lady:

Stella – Dave Matthews Band, “Alligator Pie”

And your tiny gentleman:

Jimi – Dave Matthews Band, “Jimi Thing”

Dave Matthews Band is my favorite hands down. One of Dave's daughters is named Stella, which is such a sweet and special name!

Delilah – Plain White T's, “Hey There Delilah”

This name is totally cute and makes me think of a flower, for some reason.

Jane – Jane's Addiction, “Jane Says”

Althea – Grateful Dead, “Althea”

Angie – The Rolling Stones, “Angie”

Hailie – Eminem, “Hailie's Song”

As crazy as some of Eminem's songs can get, if you can get past some of the crude lyrics, I really think he's a talented artist. And I think the name he chose for his daughter is very cute!

Taylor – Jack Johnson, “Taylor”

Molly – Incubus, “Anna Molly”

For your sweet baby girl:

Cecilia – Simon and Garfunkel, “Cecilia”

And your little baby boy:

Simon – Simon and Garfunkel, “Simon Says”

Cory – Simon and Garfunkel, “Richard Cory”

The name Simon is very sweet and not one you hear all that often!

Capri – Colbie Caillat, “Capri”

Colbie's voice is so pretty, and this song is just perfect. If you've been to and loved Capri, Italy, then I think this name would be an excellent choice for a little girl!

Josie – Blink 182, “Josie”

Matilda – Alt-J, “Matilda”

I love this name, and she can be called ‘Maddie' for short.

Daniella – John Butler Trio, “Daniella”

Caroline – John Butler Trio, “Caroline”

Fun fact about me: John Butler Trio was my first ever Red Rocks show!

Elias – Dispatch, “Elias”

I'm really digging this one. It's unique, and it's great for a boy as a baby and into manhood. Plus, Dispatch is one of my favorites.

Jude – The Beatles, “Hey Jude”

The Beatles hold a soft spot in many a heart, and this name sticks out as a great choice to me!

Charlie – Coldplay, “Charlie Brown”

I just have to say that I am not a Coldplay fan. I know many people who are, but there's something about Chris Martin's lyrics and voice that are just so whiny, in my opinion.

Lance – Zac Brown Band, “Lance's Song”

Jonas – Weezer, “My Name is Jonas”

I haven't jammed out to Weezer in years, but this name seems like it could have staying power.

Curtis – Lynyrd Skynyrd, “The Ballad of Curtis Loew”

Joey – Concrete Blonde, “Joey”

Brahm – Jewel, “Brahm's Lullaby Lyrics”

Wyatt – Sheryl Crow, “Lullaby for Wyatt”
