All About Your March Baby

As spring marches in, we celebrate growth and new life. Of course, the most exciting new life of all is the one you're expecting, right? But as your baby grows, what can you expect in the future? Looking to sources from astrology and the farmer's almanac to scientific research, here are some of the characteristics attributed to March babies.

In the Northern Hemisphere, March bring the beginning of spring. The month was actually the first month of the year in the early Roman calendar. According to Wikipedia, it “was named for Mars, the Roman god of war, who was also regarded as a guardian of agriculture.”

It is a month of new beginnings, appropriate for the new beginning that you and your little one are embarking upon.

The birthstone for March is aquamarine. As the name indicates, it derives from the sea, and the soft blue color reflects that. The aquamarine symbolizes “youth, health, and hope.”

The birth flower for March is the daffodil. The typically yellow bloom is representative of “spring, rebirth, domestic happiness, respect, regard, and friendship.”

The zodiac signs for March babies are Pisces (until March 20) and Aries (March 21 forward).

  • Pisces – Symbolized by the pair of fish, they are innovators and risk-takers, known for being impulsive and emotional. They may be worriers, but they are also adventurous free spirits.
  • Aries – Symbolized by the ram, they are strong leaders. They are ready to take everything in life head-on, but this can lead to stubborn behaviors and short tempers. They're driven and creative, and they like to show affection.

Famous March birthdays include Dr. Seuss, Albert Einstein, Adam Levine, and Lady Gaga.

    answer for the , When is your March baby’s birthday? it was on March 10th, 20008 he just turn 7yrs. old. he had a small party with a jumper and friends over from his soccer team he had a lot off fun….
