11 Can’t-Miss Milestones to Capture Through Your Lens the First Year
Ever since I can remember, I have loved capturing life through my lens. In high school, I remember how excited I would get waiting for the day my developed photos would finally come in the mail, weeks after I mailed away my film. Even if 75% of the roll was overexposed or out of focus, I still loved each and every photo. When I got my first digital camera, everything changed. I could view my photos instantly. I could print whenever and wherever I wanted.
In 2009, my husband and I welcomed our first son into the world. About a year into his life, I decided it was time to learn how to use my fancy DSLR camera in some mode other than auto. I was tired of out-of-focus images and missed milestones, so I signed up for my first photography class and have not looked back since.
From first steps to first giggles, I am addicted to documenting my children's lives through my lens. Here is a quick look at some of my favorite captured milestones.
First time meeting my third son. Speechless.
Our very first nursing session.

First time in the bumbo chair. Neither one was a huge fan!
