The birthstone for April is the diamond (lucky baby!) According to tradition, the diamonds is “thought to provide the wearer with better relationships and an increase in inner strength. Wearing diamonds is purported to bring other benefits such as balance, clarity, and abundance. It's also symbolic of eternal love.”

April's birth flower is the daisy, symbolic of “innocence, loyal love, and purity.”

The zodiac signs for April babies are Aries (until April 19) and Taurus (April 20 forward).

  • Aries – Symbolized by the ram, they are strong leaders. They are ready to take everything in life head-on, but this can lead to stubborn behaviors and short tempers. They're driven and creative, and they like to show affection.
  • Taurus – Symbolized by the bull, they are generous but can also be stubborn. They tend to be loving, patient, and practical, and are loyal listeners and good teachers.
