If you're looking to update your wardrobe this spring or are building a pregnancy wardrobe for the warmer months, we have a few fun looks for you!

Pssst — these looks are a lot more affordable with online resale shopping!

“Shopping resale continues to be a popular trend this year,” explained Sharon Schneider, CEO and founder of Moxie Jean, an upscale online resale shop. “And as pregnancy is especially temporary, most expecting moms find [that] spending hundreds of dollars on maternity clothes is hard to stomach (ha ha).

“But that doesn't mean these trendy moms-to-be don't want to look their best as they navigate a growing shape. Even if you believe in quality over quantity and in buying pieces that last, you're only going to wear these items for a few months. Ideally, you can get great quality maternity clothes but at ‘big box' prices, and that describes resale perfectly.”

It's genius for a wardrobe that you will only need a few months anyways. Am I right?

“This spring, hues of blue are making their way to the forefront of fashion,” said Schneider. “From aquamarine to lucite, you'll see the cool color everywhere, from the runway to the office, and even the gym.”

“Ever worry about that dress you love being ‘too loud?'”asked Schneider. “Forget it. This spring is the time to play with colors, prints, and patterns.

“Specifically hot? Stripes.

“This season, moms-to-be should be fearless with their fashion, accentuating their bump instead of hiding it!”

“Versatility, as always with maternity fashion, is key,” explained Schneider. “Expecting moms love to purchase items that will last well after baby is born. Maxi dresses, cardigans, and clothes with ruching details will help styles stay relevant during nursing and beyond.”
