5 Super Cute First Communion + Baptism Dessert Ideas
Next month, my first baby will be making her first communion and while I am equal parts excited for this milestone in her life and to have an excuse to eat cake, I'm also sincerely shocked that eight years of our life have flown by so quickly.
I won't lie, I teared up a little bit when I first saw her in beautiful white dress. Time keeps marching on and I can't really stop it. But all I can do is move forward and focus on what's important:
Throwing a good party. Just kidding. Maybe. But there will be cake and the best part is, you can use these first communion ideas for baptisms too!
Cake pops are always a good idea, am I right or am I right? If you're crafty enough, you could make these at home, but I would most definitely need to order these cuties.
This cross cupcake arrangement is my big plan for my daughter's party because it has the perfect blend of elegant and simple. Plus, I might just be able to pull off a cupcake cross. Maybe.
Chocolate Covered Pretzels
I just love these favors. They would look so pretty on a desert table and they are simple and classy, but still tasty. Plus, who doesn't love chocolate covered pretzels? You can actually order one dozen of these right online, so it couldn't be any easier!
Color Coordinated Treats
This party planner put together an all-white desert table, which is so smart. A plate of plain powdered donuts suddenly becomes the perfect first communion desert!
I love Etsy for just about everything, but I was still pleasantly surprised to see the wide variety of communion and christening cookies you can find on there. Do your own search for other options, but I thought these two-packs of Oreo dipped favors were adorable.
