The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. It's in the summer when the weather is normally great, it requires no gift exchange or even greeting cards, and it's the perfect excuse for a barbecue with family and friends. It's also a great holiday to teach your child about our freedom and pride for our country through activities and crafts. Here is a round up of some fantastic Independence Day crafts to keep your little one busy this holiday weekend.

My boys love to color, so I'm always searching for unique coloring pages online. I adore these hand drawn coloring pages that Crazy About My Baybah's husband drew. The four separate pages include an eagle, fireworks, Uncle Sam, and the Statue of Liberty.

I am a sucker for any and all artwork involving my children's hands and feet. Emily's handprint bald eagle art is a perfect way to capture just how small your child is this holiday. It would also make a great grandparent gift!
