4 Recipes to Satisfy Your Pickle and Ice Cream Craving
When you tell someone you're pregnant, chance are you'll be asked if you're experiencing a pickle-and-ice-cream craving yet. While I can't say I have ever craved this strange combination, for whatever reason, it's become the “go to” combo for pregnancy.
I think it's probably because, well, it sounds disgusting and it's something you would only ever consider eating if you were baking a baby and needing weird nourishment. I had some strange cravings myself (donut with chili, anyone?), so I believe there are some out there who have a legit need to eat this combination.
In case you want to eat something a little more fancy than “one bite ice cream, one bite pickle,” check out these recipes that will squash your craving and satisfy your stomach.
Peanut Butter and Pickle Ice Cream
I try not to say “never,” but I don't think I can ever see myself trying this ice cream flavor. But if you're pregnant and craving ice cream, pickles, and peanut butter, I think this is a great bet. People eat it even when they're not pregnant, so they must know something I don't. It is ice cream, though, and ice cream is almost never wrong.

Pickle and Ice Cream Cupcakes
Cupcakes are the perfect way to put together combinations you never realized would taste so good together — I've seen many episodes of Cupcake Wars that prove it. If you're looking for a sweeter, probably milder way to satisfy your pickle-and-ice-cream craving, you can't go wrong with cupcakes!

Maybe it's the tartness of the pickle and the coldness of the ice cream that you're really craving, and if that's the case, popsicles may do the trick. If you're looking for something a little different than biting into a cold pickle, these are, well, interesting!

Fried Pickles and Frozen Ranch Dressing
Fried pickles are like heaven even if you're not pregnant, and adding in the (frozen) ranch dressing to eat or dip gives the same creaminess of the ice cream, but it's a combination that probably won't send other people out the door.
