Now that spring is officially here (ignoring the fact that my entire yard is still covered in that cold white stuff!), many of us start to think about spring cleaning! It's time to get rid of all of that winter dirt, to clean our windows, and to put the screens in so that we can (hopefully) begin to open them up and let the fresh air in!

As we look around our homes, I bet each and every one of us can identify one area that is in real need of some deep cleaning! So if spring cleaning is on your mind, here are 10 tips to help you tackle the job!

OK, so we all know it's the right time of year to tackle our spring cleaning, but where do we start? What do we want to accomplish? And for goodness sakes, can we get it in a checklist so we can find satisfaction in checking things off as we go along? Well, yes we can! Tip #3: The Most Efficient Way to Spring Clean Your Car

Spring cleaning isn't just for the inside of your home. No doubt your car could use a good clean out from the winter dirt, too! Kalyn from Creative Savings Blog has a great tutorial based on how much time you have to spend on cleaning your car, whether you have just 5 minutes, 15 minutes, or even an hour!

None of us even want to think about all of the yuck that a pillow accumulates over the months since you've last washed them! So it's time to take care of this task too during our spring cleaning!

I know that mine get especially dusty due to all of the wood-burning fires we have in our fireplace during the winter! Tip #7: Create a Reusable Cleaning Checklist!


Sure, we call it “spring cleaning,” but shouldn't we be doing these tasks every few months rather than just once a year? Linda from Craftaholics Anonymous has made it easy for us to do it more often with her reusable spring cleaning checklist!
