EASTER: New Ideas for an Old Tradition

easter family

Easter is nearly here! And if you’ve been hunting for some new ideas to freshen up any old traditions, here are some ideas you may want to implement into your Easter celebrations.

Balloons

There’s just something fun about balloons, especially when there’s a little gift inside. Balloons are perfect for this pastel celebration because they’re already shaped like an egg. So this Easter, fill spring-colored balloons with treats and helium and watch the delighted faces of the kids when they see huge Easter eggs gracefully floating in the yard.

Punch Box

Fill lidless boxes with a toy or a treat, then wrap it in butcher paper and decorate the tops with numbers stating the order for which they are to be punched through by little hands. Have each child draw a number, then whatever number they get, that’s the box that they get to punch their tiny hand through to receive their prize.

Piñata

Just about any occasion is more fun with a piñata, even on Easter. Every child can take a whack at the candy-filled papier-mâché, each child vying for the chance to be the one to break into the candy jackpot.
