Tips for Increasing Milk Supply While Exclusively Pumping
Ask any mom who exclusively pumps breastmilk for her baby what her biggest worry is and her response will likely be that she will not be able to produce enough milk. Moms who exclusively pump have to not only take care of their baby, but also squeeze in pumping sessions every 3 hours. This can be a very stressful and exhausting feat!
If you are a mom who exclusively pumps, here are some ways to help keep up your milk supply:
1. Hydration; drink aloe water, coconut water, or just good old bottled water.
2. Eat oatmeal.
3. Stress less!
4. Enough fenugreek for your body.
5. Being near your baby or seeing your baby while pumping (photo or by video), can help with let down.
6. Pump more often or for a longer period of time.
