The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Duallie Really Is Worth the Hype!

Would it be strange to profess love for a baby gear item? Well, whether or not that is the case, I'm doing it. The BOB Gear Revolution FLEX 3.0 Duallie Jogging Stroller really is the stuff parents-of-two's dreams are made of (that and overlapping naps, AMIRIGHT?).

The great people at BOB were generous enough to send me a stroller to try out and I definitely have some feelings about it.

We love to share favorite products with our audience. We want you to know that we may benefit from purchases related to this post.

What makes the BOB so great?

The smooth ride! The sidewalks in our neighborhood are old and really bumpy, but the BOB glides right over the obstacles with no problem.

This baby can handle turns! I love to run and enjoy taking my babies with me when my preschooler agrees to join. When I'm running with babies in tow and pushing the stroller I will typically have one hand pushing and one hand pumping, and it amazes me that I can navigate this thing so easily with just one hand.

The fold. It's a double stroller, so it's bound to be big, but it folds so easily and lays down to a decent size.

The brake. This is one of the smartest I've seen. It can be done with the flick of a toe, it's so easy. And there is no jerk to it, eliminating the risk of waking your preciously sleeping cargo.

The shade. The shade is big, which is key! It also easily and soundlessly goes up and down so, again, no risk of waking your quiet darling.

The recline. It's super simple to raise and lower the seats and it can be done one at a time in case one kiddo is awake but the other just drifted off into sweet, sweet, dreamland.

The spy portal. It's key to be able to silently check on your babe to see if they've fallen asleep yet without making the dreaded eye contact in case they were close, but not quite there yet.

The storage. It's big! When we hit the park our son likes to have all his sports gear and it fits with ease.

The adjustable height handlebar. My husband is 5'11” and I'm 5'1″ and it's very important we're both able to use the stroller. With the push of a button, the handlebar can be raised or lowered depending on who is using it.

Zipper pockets. There are two zippered “parent pockets” on the back of the stroller beneath the handlebar to hold your phone, keys, and wallet, which is super convenient.

The width and depth. Obviously, something that is capable of carrying two humans around town is going to need to be fairly large, but so far we've only met one doorway we haven't been able to fit through! And this was in a considerably older building with a smaller than normal door-frame. In fact, at 30.5 inches wide, the stroller passes recent Disney World policies that only permit strollers less than 32 inches wide (as of May 1, 2019).

The drawbacks? There's honestly not a lot.

Minor detail: I wouldn't complain if there wasn't a strap dividing the bottom storage, but I understand why it's there (to hold the basket up) and it's not that difficult to work around.

That you have to purchase additional accessories. I totally understand why stroller companies do things this way, as not everyone will need the add-ons. For example, when I received this stroller our babe (8 months young) was past the point of needing an attachment for her bucket seat, but if she hadn't been we would have needed to order one.

Plus more parent storage! While I can obviously put my stuff in the healthy-sized bottom storage or the super handy zippered pockets, I would also typically have a coffee, beer (I'm being honest here!), or at least a water with me while I walk and there's nowhere great to put it unless you purchase the add-on.

All that said, this one goes high on my list of baby gear I'd definitely recommend to a friend.
