Ten Maternity Looks for Less
Comfort and style are important when planning your maternity wardrobe for that growing baby bump. Even though it's exciting and tempting to purchase an entire new wardrobe to accommodate that growing belly, it's always smart to shop for those key pieces that you can utilize throughout your entire pregnancy and post-pregnancy. Today I've come up with seven maternity wardrobe pieces that you can easily stretch to create ten looks. If you aren't into patterns there are some great solid looks in these same styles that will work just as well.
The first two maternity looks are a printed and striped jersey top worn with a pair of full panel khaki pants and a fold over skirt. Swap these wardrobe pieces to create four looks. This style will create perfect outfits for the office that will maximize comfort with the jersey material of the tops but will still look polished and professional as well. These particular tops offer versatility that can be mixed up for both a casual and professional look. Simply pair either one of the tops with a pair of maternity jeans and you'll have a put together look for running errands or a day at the park with the kids.
It's difficult to rationalize spending a ton of money on a maternity wardrobe that is only going to grace your closet for such a short time. There are certain clothing pieces that you currently own that can really aid in stretching your wardrobe.
Our third look is worn with a pair of jeans but again, mix it up and wear this jersey cardigan and tank to the office by pairing it with the brown pants or skirt and layer it with a great necklace for added interest. Converse are the perfect casual shoe for any look paired with jeans.
The months are getting cooler but that doesn't mean you have to pack away those maxi dresses. Have fun with this wardrobe staple by changing it up in a variety of ways by adding a great vest, fabulous scarf, a denim or chambray top, or my favorite, a simple cardigan. The possibilities are endless.

Take a chance and be open to mixing and matching what you already have to create different looks. Your wallet will thank you.
