Girl Survives 11 Days in the Woods with Nothing but Her Dog

So, being a male and being part of a relatively Scouting-heavy family, I have been on many a camping trip—camping trips that had tents, food, fires, sleeping bags, and water. Oh yeah, and they usually only lasted about 18 hours total.
Little Larina Chikitova, who is just 3 years old, found herself out in what was described as “bear- and wolf-infested woods of the frigid Sakha region,” which region just so happens to be the coldest region in Siberia, which just so happens to be currently having temperatures of about 16 degrees Fahrenheit.
Larina's dad was called out to do a firefighting job on July 29, and she followed him out into the trees, not knowing any better. Her dad was completely unaware that she was following him, and she never ended up meeting up with her dad. Lucky for her, she didn't set out after her father alone. Her dog, Kyrachaan, followed her out into the woods, which ended up being what saved the little girl's life.

According to Central European News, Larina was protected by her dog from the bears and wolves. They came to this conclusion because while search crews were looking for the girl and her dog, they were met by bears.
The authorities also said that Kyrachaan helped Larina find shelter, which was a little “nest” that was tucked into the ground, which, as is said in the article, was so good that even the rescue team had a really tough time tracking her down.
When Larina and Kyrachaan were finally found, it was 11 days after she had gone missing. (Her parents didn't call the authorities until August 3, which is a little strange and somewhat irresponsible. Not the point.)
During those 11 days, she was eaten alive by mosquitos and had (presumably) nothing to eat. How she survived is an absolute miracle, but that miracle can be attributed in part to her puppy, Kyrachaan.
Do you think you'd be able to last in the woods for 11 days with nothing but your dog?
