It seems like celebrity moms bounce back to their pre-baby weight in the blink of an eye, but it’s not so for some – even with nutritionists and personal trainers and their disposal. One mom struggling to lose the baby weight is Molly Sims, who had an extra roadblock to her weight loss: a thyroid condition. Molly gained 65 lbs during her pregnancy with her son, Brooks Alan, and struggled to lose any weight for almost a year after his birth. Molly said after she learned about her thyroid condition, began treatment, and developed a different view about dieting and exercise, she was able to get back to her regular Sports Illustrated worthy body. “I’m actually exercising a little bit less and watching what I eat a little bit more. I find that sometimes I can over-exercise, where it actually makes me hungrier,” the model mom told PEOPLE. She’s working hard to get back into shape not only for her health and career, but for baby number two with her film-producer husband, Scott Stuber!

It’s petticoat rule at Dawson’s house! James Van Der Beek, former star of Dawson’s Creek and currently starring in Friends with Better Lives, and his wife, Kimberly Van Der Beek, welcomed their third child – a baby girl – into the family during a natural birth at home on January 25. “Outnumbered by kids, outnumbered by girls, outlandishly grateful and thrilled. Watch out world, VDB baby #3 made her debut last night,” the star Tweeted the following day. Baby VDB, who is still nameless, weighed in at 7 lbs., 8 oz. ; her gender was a purposeful surprise (she joins big brother, Joshua, 22 months, and big sister Olivia, 3.) The reason? James and Kimberly had “stuff for girls and boys, so there is no logistical reason” to know. Hey, that’s one way to think about it!

Breastfeeding mamas know there is nothing quite as embarrassing as a little unexpected milk leakage. On a recent episode of the hit E! reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim, who was still breastfeeding 7-month-old North at the time, experienced a little excess milk on her (designer) dress while hanging out with her family. The reality TV starlet took it in stride, although her family members weren’t quite as impressed.  Kim’s sister Khloe said, “Your boob is like leaking out of control … it's like a water fountain!”; Her brother Rob simply responded, “That just weirded me out.”  Kim’s solution? Stuffing her bra with a few tissues to help soak up the excess. Oh, the glam life of a mom!
