Michael Bublé Talks about Pregnancy Cravings

Michael Bublé is quite surprised by the things his pregnant wife Luisana wants as she deals with pregnancy cravings. He says, “Some women crave pickles or ice cream. My wife wants blood sausages. Sausage made of congealed blood, and I promise you, she hated it her whole life and now she said, ‘Mike, I want some blood sausage,’ and it’s like, ‘What the hell?’”

The singer finds humor in the things his wife needs and has taken this pregnancy as a reflective time to cut down on his schedule and make the best memories. He also has been thinking about why his relationship with his wife is so successful. He tells Entertainment Tonight Canada, “I’m more in love with my wife than I ever was. I had my mom and dad over the other night and … I asked them, ‘How do [you] do it?’ My dad said, ‘I love your mom a lot, but the key is I like her.’”

Bublé goes on to say, “We fight … but we like each other. Honestly, I never had a woman in my life where I did not need anyone else. I didn’t need to go on holiday with another couple — just with her, she drives me nuts enough.”

I guess I am lucky in that I never had a pregnancy craving. I ate like normal and did not have an urge to eat odd things or have my poor husband run to the store in the middle of the night! I also agree 100% about what Bublé thinks makes a marriage successful. I feel like love is an abstract feeling that comes and goes over time, it is something you have to work for but when you truly like the person you are married to, wanting to love them comes naturally so you keep working.
