‘I Quit’ Videos Are on the Rise … Want to See Ours?

quiteo-textIf you haven’t seen the YouTube video Marina Shifrin posted, informing the world – and her employer – that she was quitting her job, you should definitely check it out. Not only is it a classic, but it has sparked an outpouring of others who are “quitting,” or making a similarly huge statement, via YouTube videos.

Taking Marina’s fun and entertaining announcement to an entirely different level, her ex-employers decided to make a video response. Their announcement? They are hiring! They not only match her dancing skills, but really pull you in and make you want to work for them.

Even work-at-home moms are jumping on the bandwagon, creating their own versions to declare that they, too, are quitting. No longer will they clean their dishes, pick up their children’s toys, and make their beds. A great example of this was recorded by Brenna Jennings.

Well, I couldn’t let the world have its fun without joining in. Right? So instead of writing a Buzzworthy blog about the doom and gloom this world continues to unleash upon us, I decided I would make my own “I Quit” video. And with the help of two co-workers, Sara McTigue and Nicole Hempeck, we have something we’d like to say to all our wonderful members at EverydayFamily.

We hope you enjoyed taking a look into our personal worlds, both at work and within our homes, even it if was for just a short time.

If you were to make an “I Quit” video, what would it be about?
