It’s a Girl for a Jonas Brother, a Boy for a Hills Girl, a Puppy for Drew

The baby boom in Hollywood just keeps booming! This week we have a new baby, a gender announcement and … a puppy? 

Super Bowl Sunday was super for another reason for Kevin and Danielle Jonas, as they welcomed their new daughter, Alena Rose Jonas, into the world. “She is precious! We could not be more excited to start building our family together,” the couple said in a joint statement to E! News. Earlier in the day, Kevin Instagrammed a picture of the hospital monitor with the hashtag #thisisnotadrill, and encouraged his followers to visit the Dreft Instagram to follow along on the labor and delivery journey. (Soon after, the brand shared a lovely photo of Danielle gazing at her new daughter accompanied by the hashtag #BabyJonas.) It's no surprise the social media-savvy couple shared these tender moments with all their followers — they have documented the pregnancy journey quite heavily on Instagram and Twitter, including finding out the sex of their little princess.  Kristin Cavallari must be pretty good at keeping secrets! She and her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, found out the sex of their second child (due this spring) around Thanksgiving, but saved the announcement for social media (naturally.) Kristin Instagrammed a blue-themed announcement, sharing the wonderful news that she'll be adding another little man to her family. The new bundle of joy will join big brother Camden, 17 months, when he arrives in April. Kristin, who is best known for her role on MTV's The Hills and now works as a fashion designer, recently said that while she wanted a little girl, she would be thrilled with either sex. “Another boy would be a ton of fun … I don't really care either way. There are great things about both.”

 It seems that Drew Barrymore has a rather Zen mentality when it comes to adding to her brood. In addition to her daughter Olive, 16 months, and her soon-to-be second little girl, due in the spring, Drew decided it was time to add a four-legged baby to her family, too, and adopted a puppy! Although Drew's husband, Will Kopelman, told her she was “insane” for adopting a dog with a baby on the way (in a loving way, of course,) Drew took the new addition in stride. “Let it rain. When it rains, it pours. That was my mentality.” One thing she won't have to worry about: buying new clothes and gear for her second daughter. “It's all about hand-me-downs and room sharing and all that stuff. I'm pretty psyched about that!” Let's be honest, though: Don't you think Drew will be stocking up on a few new items for her baby? We think so!
