Get the Look! Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon always seems to have the perfect girl next door sense of style. She's never over the top in her fashion choices, just nicely put together casual ensembles. I chose this outfit to recreate for you because of its comfort and simplicity. It's perfect for a lazy afternoon at home, coffee with friends or running errands with the kids on a cold day. If you favor neutral tones this is certainly the look for you.

What I love most about her outfit is how well she layered her clothing. The longer cable knit sweater, a cropped wool coat worn with these great riding boots really pull the entire look together flawlessly. For the recreation of this look, I chose this long cable knit pattern sweater as the first layer with a pair of black MOTO high waist skinny jeans.

I found a fun grosgrain trim double breasted jacket at Ann Taylor Loft. It's a long sleeved jacket with an over-sized collar similar to the one she is wearing. I was unable to find a pair of riding boots with the nice braid detail shown in the picture of Reese but I did find these black Guess riding boots that have a nice buckle detail at the bottom as well as on the calf of the boots which sort of replicates the detail in her boots. Riding boots have a pretty wide price range and these happened to be a very reasonable price at just under $100. I've completed this look with a Diana Ferrari Eva tote in tan and black very similar to the one shown in the picture. Again a great price as far as bags are concerned not to mention this would be a great choice for an everyday bag with its black and neutral tone.
