Courtney Mazza, the mother of two, Broadway dancer, and wife of television host (or better known to me as A.C. Slater) Mario Lopez, was photographed a few months back (while still pregnant) at The Grove to do an interview for the show EXTRA . She displayed fabulous maternity style that is also very attainable for those aspiring to spruce up their maternity look. Courtney always looks polished and put together whether dressing casually or out with her hubby. I've recreated this particular outfit because it's one of those looks that can be worn both throughout and a few months post-pregnancy.

Courtney is wearing a nice flowing button blouse that looks amazing on her. However, for the recreation of her look I chose a Maternity knitted fine gauge top that is better suited for those cooler months ahead. Wearing this top will still achieve a reminiscent look with these fabulous dark high-rise straight jeans that are rolled at the bottom.

Nude pointed toe pumps are such a versatile shoe to keep on hand since they can be worn with so many ensembles and more recently, we're seeing people all over, pair them with just a plain pair of jeans, like Courtney has done. They can really give your outfit a little boost giving it a more finished look.  If heels aren't your thing than by all means, swap them out with a pair of ballet flats or pointed toe flats like the ones shown here. Pregnancy is hard enough without having to balance on a pair of heels!  You can still achieve the look without the height.
Accessories can make or break an outfit, and Courtney styled hers to perfection, wearing  a multiple pearl strand necklace, delicate bracelets and a fashionable chunky watch. This is a fabulous way to give an otherwise boring look a chic and stylish statement. The accessories I chose for the recreation are very similar with a multiple strand beaded necklace that is sure to grab attention, a delicate set of three bracelets and a chunky watch.

The base of this outfit couldn't get any simpler, it's all about adding great accessories to glam it up! Go a head and add a few layers with a faux fur vest or a fashionable open cardigan sweater to give your look a little more interest. As always, play around with wardrobe pieces you already own, keeping in mind, they don't always have to be maternity pieces. Some of those accessories will fit your growing body just fine and add a wow element to your look.
