First Look at Disney’s Newest Attraction: Pandora – the World of Avatar
Fall is in the air, but the temperature isn’t the only thing that drops when the seasons change … It’s a great time for travel savings! Whether you’re planning a vacation for your Fall break, Thanksgiving, or just a quick weekend getaway, the savings are bountiful this time of year! Expedia’s Lisa Perkovic joined EverydayFamily’s Shiloh Johnson this morning from the new Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom to tell us more. See the full interview here:
If you’re looking for an otherworldly adventure where you sail through a bioluminescent rainforest beneath towering floating mountains, check out the new Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Perkovic explained that Imagineers at Disney have brought James Cameron’s blockbuster movie vision to life for all to enjoy. Perkovic added that now is a perfect time of year to come and explore Pandora. This is the off-season, or shoulder season, for many theme parks, so you’ll face less crowds and possibly encounter some awesome deals and discounts when booking a trip in the fall.
When asked for advice, Perkovic said, “Book in advance. Book for Thanksgiving or Christmas now!” She mentioned that booking packages on Expedia help you get those really deep discounts so that you have extra cash for more fun. As a bonus, Expedia allows you to book Disney hotels, park tickets, and even some dining. Perkovic added that there’s currently a deal that lets you purchase a 4-day park pass, and you get an extra day free! Or you could purchase a 5-day pass and get 2 days free! Perfect for if you’re flying in from out of town. Those extra days will help ensure you get the best possible experience!
Now, Disney aside, fall is a great time to go to other popular destinations that are having their off-season. In places like London, Rome, and Croatia, the weather is starting to cool off but it’s not cold, and the tourist population has died down. So get out there and explore!
Go to Expedia.com to get more information on packages, or download the Expedia app! Perkovic says the Expedia app is her favorite way to book hotels.
