Fall Wardrobe Updates: Why Spend when You Can Save?
Fall is fast approaching, so that means it's time to add a few new items to our Fall wardrobes! (I know, already! ) So, the question at hand is why spend when you can save? It doesn't take a lot of money to make a few trendy updates to your wardrobe. Stores like Old Navy make it easy to join in on new trends for a great price; and most importantly, it won't compromise the ol' wallet.
Depending on your area, those autumn months can be pretty unpredictable. So I've found a few great tops that should carry you through those balmy days. Each one of these tops can be worn with the same pair of jeans, so that you can really expand your wardrobe to its fullest.
- Tunics were very fashionable throughout the summer months and oh so comfortable. This particular top would easily translate to your fall wardrobe and would be perfect for those warmer days.
- The sleeveless top is a good choice for a warm fall day. Just grab a sweater to top the look when those temps dip down. This would also work well for a more professional ensemble by adding a pencil skirt, topping it with a blazer.
- This long-sleeve v-neck T-shirt is a smart choice to have in your closet all year long. It's a great transition piece throughout all of the seasons and can easily be worn ultra-casual or dressed up with a nice scarf or statement necklace. If it's a cooler day, add a great sweater to complete the look.
- Feeling a little rustic? Well, plaid tops are going to continue to be at the top of current casual trends. Nothing says “Fall” like a warm flannel top, so take advantage and stock up on a few of these. There are several ways you can transition this wardrobe staple to achieve a few different looks, such as wearing a white tank under the plaid top. Layer up and top the plaid shirt with a great sweater and jeans. Take it a step further and add a winter vest to give your look a little more country flair.
All of these tops would work fantastically with these trendy ankle-zip jeans, and will provide casual looks for both warm and cool fall days.
