Winter with kids is a long, long season.
Sure, the holidays are magical, but after that? Things get slushy and cabin-fevery and climbing-the-wall-sy. So, you may just want to do yourself a favor and gift your kid with one of these amazing ride-on toys for Christmas to help keep them busy and not whining about being bored, despite the fact that there's now a pile of toys taking over your house.

We own this ride-on princess carriage and I can assure you that it is 100% a fan favorite in my house. All four of my kids use it on a near daily basis and every little kid that comes over ends up playing with it too–it's a fave of boys and girls alike and if you've ever felt like Cinderella taking care of your kids' every little need, let me tell you that that feeling will be solidified when you pull your toddler around in an actual carriage.
Of course, the Cozy Coupe (available in standard or princess!) is a classic ride-on toy for kids this Christmas and it happens to be on sale right now, woohoo!
My kids have been begging for an electric scooter for Christmas and little did I know, but I haven't been so sure that it was a gift the whole family could enjoy. Apparently, though, I was wrong, because there is an electric scooter option even for the littles. This version is available for kids as young as 3 years old and it's less than $70!
Electric Scooter, Razor, $69.99
And of course, for older kids, there is a larger version that is actually good for adults too, so you can totally sneak a ride!
Power A2 Electric Scooter, Razor, $199.99
It's cheap, it works, and your kids will have a blast with it. How can you go wrong?
On the opposite end of the spectrum, we have the PonyCycle products, which range from everything from zebras to horses to their newest product, a ride-on unicorn! These toys may just be the coolest thing I've ever seen, because these toys move like “real” animals, simply by your kid bouncing up and down on them, no batteries or electricity needed. So fun!
Thomas the Train Rollercoaster
I did some digging into the rollercoaster trend of toys on Amazon and I have to say: there are some super cool options out there, but dang, they are pricey. This version is actually affordable and it looks just as fun as the bigger options. I can say that we owned a hand-me-down rollercoaster similar to this one when my first two kids were aged 2 and under and it got me through many, many long days at home.
