20 Fabulous Apple Crafts For Kids

Twenty Awesome Apple Crafts for Kids

Fall is almost here and that means apples! There's just something about the apple that lends itself to amazing crafts that kids adore. I get a little nostalgic about apple print crafts myself.

I scoured Pinterest and the pages of some of my blogging buddies and pulled together my top twenty apple crafts that you HAVE to check out for your kids. Which one will you try first?

Apple Print and Cinnamon Stick Wreath Craft for Kids

Speaking of apple prints, look at this fabulous apple wreath by The Nature of Grace. I love how the apple print circles are cut out and alternated with cinnamon sticks. So smart! This is one of several apple-themed learning activities that was featured in the post over there.

Apple Print and Burlap Banner

This is a home decor project that kids can get involved in – little burlap squares and apple prints with fabric craft paint can become an amazing banner. Kids LOVE to be “helpful” so this is a great way to give them that chance. See the full tutorial at Multiples and More

Part of a sensory play series, these stand up apple trees are a little more involved and would potentially give you something to do for a couple days. Practice math in a tangible, hands-on way and make your own apple orchard! See the full craft at Blog Me Mom.

If your preschoolers are like mine there isn't too much they like more than cutting and pasting things. That's why this craft is so much fun for them! A DIY apple tree that is nothing but cutting and pasting. Simple, beautiful, and fun, fun, fun! By Hands on As We Grow.

Alphabet Apple Tree on the Wall

Here's another apple tree that has alphabet apples – the tree is huge and goes on the wall. I think kids would love the oversized apple tree (more than just one sheet of construction paper). Of course parents will love the peel and stick apple letters which give you a chance to practice letters in a fun way. A win/win activity from No Time For Flash Cards

Alphabet Apple and Worm Game

I love this alphabet, letters, and sounds game that uses apples and a worm to make it so much fun for kids to learn. Inexpensive to create, this is a craft that's actually a game and can be reused again and again. Love this idea from Fantastic Fun and Learning

Large finger painting apple craft

My kids love to fingerpaint and this craft is a no brainer for guaranteed fun. I find it helpful to trace the shape of the apple in pencil BEFORE the painting starts so I can cut it out more easily – but definitely let the kids paint, and then cut the apple. Simple, less messy, and totally fun. Great idea by The Chirping Moms

These two math games with apples are just tons of fun. What a great way to introduce math concepts to your kids at home! The picture on top uses apple seeds for counting, while the picture below shows how you can help your kids practice pattern recognition. Both are samples of several great ideas from Tutus and Tea Parties
