Setting a Routine
Unlike your first (chaotic) week at home, you might find yourself settling into a routine by now. It helps to have a pattern to your mornings and nights. If you are having trouble sticking to a routine, perhaps try to start and end each day the same way. A walk every morning and a feeding at the same time each night might be a great way to begin.
If you don’t have a routine or your life simply seems unpredictable right now, don’t worry. Having a baby might mean that your life will be a little chaotic for a while and that’s OK. Sticking to a rigid routine might just add more stress, so try to go with the flow and live in “survival” mode for a while to make your life easier.
