How to play: Divide into two or more teams. Teams should have at least three people on them. During a round, one person from each team is the artist, while the others are the guessers. At the beginning of the round, one artist picks out a subject from the bowl and shares it with the artists from the other team(s). All teams should be trying to guess the same subject during a round. Then, the artists draw that subject to try to get the guessers on their team to identify the subject. You can't write any words or numbers. Artists must do this while only drawing objects. The first team to guess the subject earns a point. There must be a new artist for the next round. You can play to as many points as you wish.

Optional: You can also have the rounds timed. Give the drawers 30 seconds to draw their object. If none of the teams guess the answer in the allotted time, it's a redo and the artists pick another subject and start over.

Any other baby shower games? My bbyshower is this Saturday

  2. N says:

I think there should be a way to save articles that we may want to reference later to our account somehow. Then there could be a section of our account called “saved articles” or “bookmarked articles.” Sure, I can bookmark them in my browser, but it would be nice to have them all together since I have an account here anyways.

These are good ideas for a shower!

    • Hi N, I think this is a wonderful idea and will pass the idea along! In the mean time, you can write about the information that catches your eye in your EverydayFamily journal. Your journal is the perfect place to unload info about your pregnancy cravings, record precious moments, and save all of those new thoughts, feelings, and lessons learned that come with life as a parent. Hover over the My Everyday tab, click Journal, change the option to compose, then release your inner thoughts and feelings!

    • Hello, N. This is a fabulous suggestion that may be possible in the future. Thank you so much, we love feedback from our members.

  3. Leilani says:

How cute! I love these ideas!

  4. Cait says:

Is it okay to have a baby shower for a second baby? It’s been over six years since my first child and we had a house fire and lost all of our baby stuff.

  5. Casey Kerver says:

My coworkers are the best at throwing baby showers. I’ve had two coworkers who were pregnant in the six years I’ve been there. At one shower they had a game where you walked around with a cucumber between your legs and had to transfer it to the next person without dropping it. They also had where you unrolled a roll of toilet paper to guess how big the mother was. At the other shower there was a person blindfolded who fed baby food to another person until it was all gone. I had a blast at them and can’t wait to see what they do for my shower 🙂

  6. Viviana says:

We played a few games at our baby shower, my father & husband were the funniest at the games because they got upset that they didn’t win but it was so much fun 🙂

  7. Stephanie says:

I did a lot if online research before the baby shower and we had a blast. Bottle bowling was everyone’s favorite. I also liked how many words can you make from baby shower. Except I should have thought to say no phones for help because someone looked it up and stomped us all. Lol.

  8. Calee says:

Love these ideas. Want to have a fun shower!

  9. jacqueline says:

im a teen-mom and need ideas for my babyshower any good ideas?

  10. KT. S says:

I didn’t like the games, We did a diaper raffle Were your guest brought in a pack or box of diapers and put their name in the box and in the middle of the shower I grabbed three names and they won a raffle prize! Then I did a baby lottery with the winner getting a prize! Lots of fun, but that’s because my baby shower was laid back. The diaper raffle is really nice too! I didn’t have to buy diapers for the first 2 months!!! Its a great help

  11. Jamie says:

Another fun game is molding a baby out of bubble gum (un chewed of course) We played it at my sister in laws and will be doing again at mine 🙂

  21. Tina says:

I’m excited for my baby shower. I don’t know what they are all going to do, but I’m sure there will be games and cute decorations, and of course lots of gifts. I can’t wait 🙂

  22. Marina says:

Didn’t play any games at my shower

  23. For my shower, we played:
Dirty diaper: melt a different kind of chocolate in several different diapers and pass around for everyone to smell and right what kind of chocolate they thought was in the diapers. Who every won got a prize.

Cotton bowl: You place a plate on top of the persons head and blind fold them while trying to scoop cotton out of a separate bowl and just make noises like they got alot to add more excitement lol at the end you see who got the most cotton balls and that person wins.

Finish the rhyme: You start a rhyme and the some one has to finish it… keep doing untill you run out of rhymes and see who has the most points.

Bottle: get two or more bottles and fill it with juice or what ever you want and get how ever many people want to play, you feel the bottles and tell them when to start and they all try to finish sucking the drink out the bottle first.

These were really fun games hope you enjoy them too. 🙂
