The only girl name I like from this list is Grace.

  2. Profile photo of Courtney Courtney says:

I let my boyfriend name our baby girl, Zoey, so if we ever have a boy ( I hope our second and last child will be a boy) I’m naming him Oliver. Not sure on a middle name though.

  3. Profile photo of Samantha Samantha says:

I am going with a literature inspired name for a girl but it is not on the list Ophelia from William Shakespeare Hamlet

  4. Profile photo of Kris Kris says:

sophie& Sawyer(twins) 2010 Colemon 2001, with the names my husband & myself took it to heart.almost a compatition at time.I even changed my 1st son name, after naming him(he has 2 birth certificates) it makes for a great story! & for the twins , we where ahead of the sophie curve-I know what it feels like to be 1 in a 10000 my name is , KRISTIE

  5. Profile photo of Denice Denice says:

I like unique names, somehow it makes the character stand out, one example would be “Katniss Everdeen”, if you know what I mean. I don’t mind some particular names, unless they are just a bizarre spelling of a normal name, like Caaryn instead of Karen. But I’m not a fan of naming girls with boy names which is a craze right now. Was able to find a site that has tons of name inspirations: http://www.interestingnames.net/.

  6. Profile photo of Jessica Jessica says:

Naming is so hard. It’s hard to find something no one has used before with a good meaning.

  7. Profile photo of Tina Tina says:

I think we might have a first name picked out now i’m searching for a middle name.

  8. Profile photo of Jade deSilva Jade deSilva says:

Simultaneously amused and disappointed at the list compilers error when listing "The Picture of Dorian GRAY" …twice even. I know Brown is also a color but it’s not what Oscar Wilde named his infamous character.

  9. Profile photo of Lulu Lulu says:

My daughter’s name was inspired by literature, and her name isn’t on the list.

  10. I like Holden and Lennox =]

  11. Profile photo of verochka31 verochka31 says:

wow! my name made the list!……………………Vera. never thought my name was inspired by literature. I know it as a biblical name meaning Faith.

  12. Profile photo of Jeanetta Jeanetta says:

I didn’t see any girl names I really like.

  13. Profile photo of McKenzie McKenzie says:

If I have a boy I already have a name but my fiance and I do not have one for a girl yet, I want something different.

  14. Profile photo of SammysMOMMY SammysMOMMY says:

I feel smart knowing about a third of these books!

  15. Profile photo of Heather Heather says:

    Baby. Sitter. Watching. Me.
