A Tampa, FL native, Karen attended Hillsborough High School, St. Pete JC (when it was a Junior College) and the University of South Florida, majoring in English Education. Working since high school, Karen spent her childrearing years managing offices, coordinating marketing and directing human resources for a wide variety of businesses in the Tampa Bay area. Mother to two grown sons - Garrett & Justin - she has hung up her corporate hat and traded it in for spit-up stained t- shirts & yoga pants with a major career change to that of an Infant Nanny. Dubbed "The Baby Whisperer" by her latest charges' parents, Karen spends her days giving care to two infants - Jude & Lyra - and researching arcane baby factoids on the internet. A writer by nature and now by practice, she loves her new life and nurturing newborns to twelve months.
