Kathy Mercer, RNC-OB, CNM

Ms. Mercer has been a maternal/infant nurse for more than 30 years, and has worked in a variety of hospital settings, including labor & delivery, mother-baby, intensive care nursery, and pediatrics. She has participated in home visitation and care for high risk antepartum clients, as well as women and infants following normal birth in a birth center. She has been involved in educational efforts including childbirth education, education of nursing students, preparation of nursing graduates for taking the licensure examination, and continuing education for nursing staff. She also holds a graduate degree in church music and is a harpist. Ms. Mercer has also finished graduate nursing training and is a certified nurse-midwife.
