Jessica Lynn

Jessica Lynn is days away from popping out her second child—another girl—and is counting down the minutes until she can bend enough to tie her own shoes again. When she’s not dreaming of drinking wine again, she’s trying to keep up with her active almost-two-year-old daughter. She’s an accidental southern girl living in Georgia, thanks to the military; her husband just returned from his sixth deployment, and she’s extremely happy to have him back home in time for the birth. Jessica's the voice behind Jessica Lynn Writes, a lifestyle blog where she shares everything from tales about motherhood, the joys (and hardships) of pregnancy, her adventures overseas and around America, life as a military wife, good eats, and everything in between.

A diaper bag is a mom's lifeline the minute she steps outside her house, and but finding one to suit her personality and her new-mom needs can be harder than picking out a name for a baby. All diaper bags are not created equal. In fact, they come in so many different shapes, colors, designs ...

For my first pregnancy, my bags were packed and ready to go at a moment's notice — from the beginning of the third trimester. A bit extreme, I know, but I didn't want to be scurrying around my two-story house, throwing things in a bag at the last minute. The result of being a little ...
