A Wedding with Kids

Recruit your little wedding kids as your wedding planners and ask for their input!

They've given you their advice, and they know their input is valued and used. But imagine how surprised they will be if you amaze them with something they never expected, like their very own kid-friendly space at the wedding.

Designate an area just for the youngsters.  Design a tablescape around their interests and loves, like colored pencils and paper, story books, and Play-Dough.

Create a playground with a bean bag toss, a ball pit, and maybe even a fishing pond where they catch prizes instead of trout.  These important counterparts have been by your side from the beginning, and will be there at the end of the aisle. So giving them a little time and space is a great way to help them kick back and celebrate with guests their own size, too.

My parents had their silver wedding anniversary 8 years ago. It was wonderful to renew their vows with us the children as their secondary sponsors. It was an emotional ceremony! I’d like to have this for myself! I am teasing my husband to marry me again on our 10th!
