I think parents can play games that include eating veggies or include them in stories.

Maybe try finger foods (like carrot sticks and steamed broccoli florets) instead of purees? That way, he gets to explore different textures, and they taste much better than baby food. Before a year old, it’s all for fun and exploration anyway; most of his nutrition is still from mama milk at this point.

With a 6 month old, I haven’t a clue.I try to buy some of the baby foods that mask the vegetable taste.A part of me thinks, if it is that disgusting and I would not eat it-why should he? Obviously, I’m an adult but modeling good eating habits is crucial. He needs vegetables to grow and to learn to eat a diversified menu.At this point,I guess I will continue to try to mask the taste.
