My Pregnancy Week 27

Pregnancy Week 27

Your baby continues to grow and develop inside of you. Measuring about 14.5 inches long, he weighs just about 2 pounds. This week, his brain is developing quickly. His eyelids, which have remained closed up until this point, begin to open and now his retinas can begin to form. The retina contains specialized photoreceptor cells that respond to light, called rods and cones. Cones in particular help us perceive color.

Her skin is still wrinkly; but by 27 weeks, she basically looks how she will look when you give birth to her – in just a few months!

Actually there is a site that gives you twins progress week by week:) I am subscribed to Babycenter and there is always an update every week and at the bottom of the first paragraph it says – "track progress for twins" πŸ™‚ Good luck hope you find it:)

To be honest, I was never exptibg to be pregnant again. Although this is my 4 th child. :). I’m nervous and a bit frighten for the labor time! Eeeeks! Yes, even though all my 3 previous afte all natural and I had them less than 20 mins, its the fact of having the baby that frightens me. My husband is superb excited while I’m exhausted, but also excited since its been a while. Congrats to all the mamas this year!!!

Sending you best wishes for a lengthy pregnancy for those babies! There aren’t really twin week-by-week calendars, since the basic development is the same, just slightly faster and times two!

I am on bedrest since I was 19 weeks and I have a three year old.
I am expecting twins. I ahve had 1 helicopter trip for pre term labor and lucky they were able to stop it. I pray everyday for the extra day god has given me. I am 27 weeks and 2 days. I hope I get out of the 20’s and into the 30’s. I wished websites gave twin progress week by week.

  16. Are you sure he doesn’t weigh more than 2lbs? Lol… Boy, I had a rough night dealing with all the weight and laying on my side made it worse. That’s cool how the skin works and him being able to see light. πŸ™‚

I am counting down the weeks I can’t wait!!!!

  18. I feel great! I’ve been hovering at the same weight, for a few weeks. I do yoga, and walk regularly, to try to keep the weight and cramps in check. I remember all too well those horrible leg cramps at night. I eat a bowl of cereal, or Tums before bed, to try to not get them. (Leg cramps have something to do with Calcium and phosphorus imbalances). Running around with a two year old also helps!
