I am 7 months pregnant and this is my second child. My first pregnancy was a breeze but this one has really taken a toll on me. I work in a high stress job where I am on my feet all day long. I have been having major pelvic pain and some braxton hicks already. The doctor said that the baby is already head down. He wants me to cut back at work but I just cannot afford it right now and I do not want to go off 2 months before the baby is born. I rather save my fmla time for after the baby comes. Some people tell me that having this much pressure is normal and I just want to know if any other moms out there have had this problem?

I had the same thing for months. I had to get an ultrasound, which determined it was an ovarian cyst. It eventually ruptured, and I haven't had any issue with it since.
I HAVE HAD ALOT OF COMPLICATIONS DURING MY PREGNANCYS. THEY TAKE ME OFF WORK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO I WONT DELIVER EARLY. THERE ARE AGENCYS THAT CAN HELP FINACIALLY. SORRY BOUT MY SPELLING. IS THERE ANY SIT DOWN JOBS YOU COULD DO AT WORK? JUST TILL THE BABY COMES. HOPE ALL GOES WELL.
when i was pregnant with my son i had major pelvic pain aswell the first time they told me it was nothing they sent me home on meds and it was ok the second time i went to the hospital for it my son was born, i went in and they checked they said it was nothing i wasnt having contractions and i was already 36 weeks but they said your not ready no contractions no dialation your fine go home and wait for your c section scheduled date but the pain i was feeling was unbearable morphine wasnt even able to calm my pain the doctor called it pelvic seperation and then refused to give me medication because the had just given me something and when they finally did the doctor gave me the wrong medication and caused a major stress in me so bad that it cause my seizures (im epileptic) to act up and i blanked out 2 hours later i was getting prepped for a c section and a cople of minutes later my son was out. maybe what your feeling is normal or pelvic seperation either way dont overlook it if its bad i know being in a hospital sucks but its your health and your babies.
