I am 22 years old and 31 weeks 2 days pregnant of a baby boy who I can't wait to meet =).............I am a full time student, sadly couldn't continue working doing to the stress and anxiety, I am a single mother and proud of it, just like you I have the support of my parents and I live with them as well.  My little fellow has been nothing but a miracle in my life who change my point of view of life, all I want is to become a better person and give him the best of me and as you said with my parents support and love and God in my heart I know I will be a strong woman to give my baby a good life with lots and lots of love around him =)

I was three months pregnant when I broke up with the father of my baby and as spredex07 said he had different point of views of life and goals, didn't support my career and I wasn't convinced of the example he was going to give to the baby. 

Thanks! Reading these comments brought tears to my eyes! Probably because I am the most emotional I have ever been.... but also because the encouragment is beyond apperciated. My pregnancy is still a secret to the public and within the week I will be making an anouncement. I am anxious and nervous... but with the pressure of keeping such a big secret I'm ready to let everyone know! Having strangers support and encourage me is spectactular, I just hope that the people who know me can also be.

my name is gabi I'm 18 i turn 19 in September and i just had my baby in June. telling people was the hardest part but it definitely all worth it in the end. and there will always be people that want to judge you and when u feel down just remember your living for your baby. stay strong. your going to be a mom now and when you meet your baby after all the waiting (and believe it feels like a life time of waiting) you'll never be the same. so good luck. if ever need to talk im here. i wish i would have someone to talk that went through what i did. :)

Im 20, and im 31-32 weeks pregnant. Its nice to have sites like this and posts like this, where you dont feel so alone. Family is great to have but sometimes they dont understand it completely, every pregnancy is different and its hard for some members of the family to understand that. Ive reached the point where its hard to sleep and get comfortable. My boyfriend (the baby's father) has been a huge help. Sometimes i dont see it that way, with being emotional and hormonal but its nice to have him around. Congrats on you and your boyfriends news and I hope you two have a very healthy beautiful baby!!!!!!

I had my first daughter at 18 and it has been a joy and a struggle. Strong family support is awesome! One piece of advice...no doubt you will fill the need to sew your wild oats, I did, but always remember that your child comes first. I am 32 now and looking back I made several mistakes. I went out too much because I became single when she was 1. This never lead to anything good at all. Of course you can have friends and fun just be mindful that your child needs you more than you need to party. I wish now I would of sacrificed my needs more but I am grateful my daughter and I have a strong bond.

  I am 18 years old, turning 19 in October. I am 8 weeks and 2 days pregnant with my first child. I was wondering if there were any other young/teen moms on this website. I thought it would be good to have some sort of support system for other girls going through similar situations. Of course anybody is more than welcome to chime in. Just looking for some words of encouragement, any and all advice, comments and questions. I am living with my parents, working and a student. The father and I are still together and doing our best to work together through this.  I have passed the initial stage of shock and fear... I'm very excited to meet this miracle of a baby that is growing inside of me. My family has done nothing but support me and I am very blessed. Things will undoubtedly get difficult... but I know that with God and my family being behind me 100% I can do this. Again, feel free to comment or get involved in this forum. Would love to hear other stories!!

Me and my fiancee have been together for 3 years & we live together. we are very excited to be having this little bundle of joy. I was 18 when my first child was born and had to do alot of growning up in 10 months. The father lefted soon after my son was born and hasnt been in his life since, i'm 28 now and having givin him a brother who just turned 2 weeks old today and a little sister who is 15 months old,  and even though i have had three i still dont everything.

Dont think we will never know it all about babies but they are truely a  gift from god, best advice is from your mother she rised you and you did just fine, let her help you the most cause you may need it more then what you think.

I am 22, and 32 weeks :) 

I had my son when I was 18, 4 days before my 19th birthday. My son is 8 months old now and he is a fantastic little boy. My pregnancy and the birth went very well. The father stayed with me through the entire pregnancy, something I really needed and am thankful for. We split just after our son turned 3 months old. We are now together again as of a week before our son turned 8 months old. He is very excited to spend time with our son and rebuild our relationship. We will be getting another apartment together in a different city. As of right now, he still lives in the apartment we got just before our son was born. For me, I've been living with my grandparents since we broke up, almost 5 months now. I graduated high school when I was a little more than 7 months pregnant at an alternative school, which was where I met my wonderful boyfriend and my son's father. It's really difficult finding a job in the city where I want to live in, but when I do, I will be able to afford my own apartment! As you might be able to tell, I am very eager to move out and live on my  own. It's a huge financial burden on my aging grandparents but I am very thankful that they provide the food and shelter than my son and I need. My advice to you is that you keep working hard with school and work. They are very important for you as well as your baby. Don't feel like you need to struggle every day though. If you need a break from school, then do it. Your health and your baby's health is very important and you can always go back. I have several friends who are the same age with me who have kids, work, and go to school. Thankfully they have their baby's father to help with financial, emotional, and when they are completely wiped out, physical help. Make sure your baby's father feels included during this time. My boyfriend felt neglected and that everything was about me. I tried to get him in the spotlight too, but I think he felt that it was supposed to be that way. Make sure he isn't getting negitave feedback for getting you pregnant. Maintain a relationship with his family if you can. That helps a lot. Have fun dates and make sure he feels loved. This is a difficult time for the two of you and the stresses of a baby can drive you apart.
