i have headaches everyday nothing i do helps im crancky and i sleep alot but as soon as i get up the headache is backI try taking pills they dont help either any kind of tips for me pls!!!
I agree pills don't help. But try pouring rubbing alcohol in your hands n squeezing your head with a little pressure for a few minutes. It's relieves the pressure n it works!
Caffeine is always good for headaches. Another thing that kind of takes the edge off, for me anyway, is take a hot bath. The heat dialates blood vessels and relieves the pressure in your head.
Caffeine works great, unfortunately were only aloud a small amount. But a soda wont hurt. A hot shower helps and if it gets reallyyy bad then I take Tylenol extra strength.
Have you been to the Dr. I was having the same thing for years and I finally went to the Dr and it was because of something more serious then just a headache. I was diagnosed with PsuedoTumor Ceribri, its a condition where your body doesn't know how to or cant absorb the spinal fluid that protects your brain and cause pressure in your head and behind your eyes and you have to take a special medicine and do a few other things but ever since the diagnosis, I still have the headaches but I can now get control of them sometimes and I understand why i have them. I'm not saying that this is what you have by any means, but sometime a headache is more then a headache, its a sign that something else is wrong, go to a Dr and tell them that you've been getting these headaches, keep a log of when the headache starts and use a scale from 1- 10 and how bad it is 1 being not that bad and 10 being horrible and track when it starts, what you took or did to help it and when it stops. track the activity you were doing when it started and if you were under stress or sad or angry, whatever you were feeling. it will help to better understand your body and why the headache starts and it will give your Dr a better understanding so they can help you. Please don't just ignore the headaches. I wish you the best of luck!!!
Drink a lot of water, take Excedrin (only thing that works for my headaches), try not to stress as much as that's possible, and if my headache is bad enough I put a cold rag on my head and take it easy til it subsides. These things in combination usually always do the trick. Also 6 small meals throughout the day to keep your blood sugar from getting low. Hope this helps.

Bianca, I have been struggling with this same thing since October of 2011 (everyday) I ended up getting an MRI and diagnosed as having had a stroke over the past year (I'm only 31) and I didn't even know it and they said I have severe migraines. The neurologist I am seeing now prescribed Topamax and a pain killer for treatment and preventative treatment. It might be worth going in to check with your Dr to rule out that it isn't anything more serious than just a headache.

I had the same problem with my first pregnancy and I could have sworn there was something WRONG with me. and there was. Dehydration...it gave me blindingly bad migranes and nasuea. If you cant rehydrate yourself or start throwing up water everytime you try and drink go to the ER or urgent care and they will put you on an IV...saved my life, and my child's. Wish the doc would have suggested drinking water instead of perscribing me fiorcet. (idiot)
I had the same issue with headaches I ended up standing out in the rain to get rid of them literaly for an hour, i also shut off my ac and opend up all my windows. it really helped and I live in florida.I am not sure what caused then but I had it bad for over a week.. not saying you should try this but its just a silly suggestion..
I have the same problem. I was on Topamax before my pregnancy but it is dangerous to be on while pregnant. It is degernative to the fetus. Now I am restricted to a tylonal, and G2 Gatorade, for some reason the gatorade helps so much better than caffine (caffine can give you rebound headaches according to my neurologist), try drinking a 32 oz with 2 tylonal. My doctor recently recommneded takeing 200 mg of magnesium every 12 hours and that has seemed to help. Go talk to your doctor about it though it's important that he knows what is going on.
Have you tried not eating dairy? I have a few friends that used to get extreme headaches for about 3 days. Once they quit drinking milk and eating cheese their headaches have subsided. Or maybe you may have another food allergy. Many have found out they need to be on a gluten free diet.
its important to try not to think too hard or stress too much, make sure you are drinking enough fluids, try tynenol its like the only thing u can take while pregnant although it takes long to kick in lol....try drinking hot cocoa or ginger tea sometimes headaches can be caused by gas in your system. Go for a walk get fresh air....sometimes sex can relieve headaches or make it worse its worth the try, warm baths, adjust ur pillow when you sleep, relax, yoga, stretching
Please talk with your OBGYN before taking anything over the counter or other prescriptions. Many medications are not safe to take while pregnant. I was advised that the only safe over the counter pain medication is regular Tylenol. I was ok'd to take Tylenol and a can of coke-a-cola to help with my migraines. Before I got pregnant I had 2 severe concussions that resulted in a brain injury and I was on medications to control the severe migraines/muscle damage but had to come off because they are not safe during pregnancy.
If you dont want to take medications try a certified prenatal massage therapist and get back/neck/head massages. You can also ask if acupuncture is safe depending on how far along you are. If you also want to try you can go natural and try a Reike Master or Direct Energy Transfer Master.
Warm baths also help or laying down in a dark room with putting ice packs on your forehead and back of head/neck. Stay hydrated get plenty of water and fluids and eat healthy fresh foods not processed ones. Good Luck.
