Similarly to when you aren't pg, it is normal to have clear to milky discharge. If anything changes - color, smell, or feeling itchy or uncomfortable - definitely check with your doctor!

Depends on how far you are could be a sign of labor or could just be your bodies natural over production of mucous, i saw more of it with my twins the whole pregnancy than i did with my first daughter, when i had it with my first i went in to labor a week later so unless there is cramping anf other labor signs dont worry about it the body over produces alot due to hormones

It is normal to have that kind of discharge. I had it in my last trimester and was worried as well. I asked the doctor and was told as long as ther is no blood its fine. If you are a worry wart like I am maybe you should talk to your Obgyn so you dont worry about it anymore.

I had the same thing just last night and called my OB, I am 29wk5d and a high risk pregnancy and he told me it was no big deal unless you are cramping or it is tinged red, pink, or brown. If your OB is anything like mine, he/she would welcome a call and most of the time the nurses are more then happy to answer questions on the phone as well.

It sounds normal. I am only 16 wks with #3 and I had varying levels of disharge with my two previous pregnencies. The only thing to look out for - I had a yeast infection and didn't know it and the doc didn't even catch it the first time around and I was 30something wks at the time. I had so much discharge that I had to change panties frequently or wear a liner. No odor or color or texture really and no pain or itching. It went on for about 2 full weeks before it started feeling itchy and then we figured it out. So, if it's something like that, watch it. :)

Yes, clear to milky discharge, but like what was said if color and smell change you may have a bacterial infection. Which is what I had and it was accompanied with lots of cramping. I was 13 weeks when that happened. I was given a rx from my doctor and it went away within a week. I never wore pads with the other kids cause I never thought too, but I do with this one and it helps a lot!

In Response to discharge:
does anyone know what normal discharge is during pregnancy?
I am currently pregnant, 30 wks actually. I get a lot of discharge. Its called leukorrhea, which means white excretion or discharge. If it is white then you should be ok. You should only be concerned if its yellow or green, with a fishy or loud order and you are also having lower abdominal pain. Also, if it has bloodly show in it, then go to the doctor. Other than that, it is a response to the increasing hormone level in the body.

It may be a yeast infection or a bacterial infection. I would call your doctor right away and talk to him/her and they may want to do a few tests.

You can always go to your doctor, just to make sure. It never hurts to be to careful, but it seems like a normal thing.

Clear or milky color is normal. Red and brown are not!
