Yes! The dreams you have when you're pregnant are VERY vivid. Dreams are a persons way of conflict resolution, and during pregnancy A LOT is on your mind & you're more emotional than ever before. Your dreams reflect your excitement, apprehension, and fears about your body changing, and the arrival of a new life! They also seem to reflect the stages of your pregnancy.
For example; 1st Trimester: my dreams were very confusing seeming to not have any meaning. 2nd: I would dream about my husband cheating on me with other woman (which I think reflected my fears of being undesirable to him ) and 3rd: I dreamt a lot about my baby and holding him. (because i am very close)
If you're like me and had lucid dreams before you were pregnant they only get worse. I have aweful nightmares that would go on and on until I finally woke up, however, I do wake my husband up from time to time for comfort, I found that laying in a dark room with him sleeping bothered me when I wake from a nightmare so I would just tell him to hold me for a while & rub my head (he is very understanding) BUT don't fret, I have also had really cool dreams that take me to a paradise that I have never been too, and leave me to stay asleep just to stay there! haha.
