I'd love to hear some of you other moms opinions on this. I know there has to be alot of coffee-a-holics out there like me. I am already on my 3rd pregnancy/child, so I am not really asking because of inexperience with this issue. Basically, my OB has told me to "limit" my caffeine to 1 cup a day, and any webpage I come across says 200 mg of caffeine is fine a day. (an 8oz cup of regular brewed coffee is 137 according to my research).
Anyways.... Ive also seen places that said to AVOID it. I also was "yelled" at on facebook for talking about drinking caffeine. I was always a 2-3 cup a day person., and if I dont have at least one, I have a headache all day that not even tylenol kills, so if my doctor tells me its fine, whats the big deal? My other 2 children have NO problems right now (ok so my son is a lil hyper sometimes.. but he is a 4 year old boy! lol isnt that normal?? lol)
Anyhow, to those moms out there, how many of you cut caffeine completely or did you just limit what you did prepregnancy like I did? I wasnt happy when my "facebook friend" scolded me for something I was approved to do by my OB/GYN specifically!!
