I just had an IUD inserted 3 months ago. And all of a sudden i'm wanting despretly to have another baby. My husband and I have discussed and agreed to have another child (our current one is 13 months old) and he said whenever I feel ready to try we can. I've always wanted another baby but is the rush and extream desire to have another just a side effect of the IUD? I don't want to rush this specially if its just a side effect of the birth control. And I'd really hate to have it removed to only find out once it gets out of my system i'm having second thoughts. any ideas?

Hmmm... I've never heard of that, but who knows! I also have an IUD that we put in after having our daughter. She is 10 months old :-) I too want to have another baby, but I always thought it would be years between. Lately I've had thoughts of wanting to get pregnant again... I think my husband would rather wait a bit though, so just keep pushing those thoghts away! Let me know if you find anything out like that though... I think a lot of us would be curious!

lol, years ago i would have told you i'm a one baby mama. but after seeing how amazing it is to watch my daughter grow the more i want to give her a sibling. and to be honest, i felt sad when she was about 6 months old because for some reason i got it in my head that i had completed my biological purpose and was no longer needed. and i craved to have another child then too. then when my daughter started showing loving actions as she grew i was happy and satisfied. i'd love to just sit back and enjoy these years with my daughter and focus on her. but i feel like i'm missing one. lol. i'll have to do more research. for now, just gotta remember the reason i got the IUD in the first place. XD

I had mine removed at the end of May the was pregnant with my second son by July. Usually it take 1 cycle for your lining to be thick enough for an egg to attach to it. At least thats what my dr told me when it was removed. Hope this helps.
