I think First Response is the best pregnancy test.

In Response to Preg. Test:
What are the best pregnancy tests?
Posted by Lauren
I have found that the brand name ones, First Response, EPT, etc. are the best. However, I did buy some cheapies online for when we are ttc, since I went through so many. The cheapies did work, the lines were just very, very faint. They do tell you when to use the brand name ones to confirm, though, by giving you those faint lines. :)

However, I did!

They all work the same, by reading the hCG in urine. You're not likely to get a false-positive on any.

I always wondered this too, so I asked my doctor! He said that the hospital buys them in loads of 1000 for only $3.oo, if you go to the dollar store or any other store your buying the same test we buy, at a much cheaper price. Since all the test are made to do the same thing, even the old fashioned ones that you pee in a cup are as good as a hospitals! Happy Peeing!

For all 3 of mine I used different tests... They all came back positive and were correct! I think they are all the same but some companies just charge more because they get more advertising... As far as I have been told by my doctor, they are all created equal and are just as accurate as going to the doctor... It really all depends on your system and if you have the chemical in your urin... Sometimes you don't have the chemical and the only way to tell is through a blood test...If you think you are and even if the tests come back negative, it's all ways good to get a blood test done!
