Question: 1st and 2nd birthday party..

My sister and I both have babies and hers was born on 9/14/2011 and a year later i just so happen to have a baby on that same day. My sister didnt have a first bday party for the baby thinking that no one would come cause they went to my other nieces birthday party. My mother is planning a party for both the babies but dosent know how to do it sense my sisters baby is a lil girl turning 2 and my baby is turning 1 and is a boy. What can we do when we set there date for the party?

Re: 1st and 2nd birthday party..

I have boy/girl twins, so we always split the themes. Here are a few that we and our other friends have used:

Fairy tale (princesses/knights/dragons/etc)

Pirates and mermaids

Barnyard (cowboys/cowgirls or just animals)
Garden (flowers and bugs)

Monkeys (who doesn't love monkeys?)
