My son is almost 8 months. He is a really good eater, on top of breast milk.
This is a typical day: (I don't feed him on the clock. The times listed, are to give you an idea.)
6:00 am Breast Milk (difficult to know the amount, but I do not have a lot of milk)
8:00 am Fruit & Cereal (about 3 oz)
10:00 am Breast Milk (1 or 2 oz) and/or 1/2 Baby Yogurt (about 2 oz) depending if he naps. usually 30 minutes (who sleeps, do not eats!!!)
12:00 pm Veggie & Meat or Eggs & Spinach (puree or tiny small bites) (about 3 to 3.5 oz)
2:00 pm baby snacks finger food (puffs, yogurt melts...) (about 10 to 15 pieces) if we go to the pool...
3:00 pm Breast Milk before napping (probably 1 or 2 oz) it only takes 2 minutes not even.... He usually sleeps for 1.5 hour or little more.
4:30 pm 1/2 baby yogurt (about 2oz)
7:30 pm Veggie & Meat or Fruit (about 3 to 3.5 oz)
8:30 pm and once during the night Breast Milk (?oz)
According to my doctor my feeding schedule is great, but I'm worried about my servings, it is too much???? He always wants to eat and asks for more...
What are the appropriate servings for a baby of 8 months??? Does anyone know??? in ounces please....
