i have had a hard time in producing milk for my son. my baby is only 1 month and a half and i have not produced milk in like three weeks. is there anything i can do since it is still early on to start up my milk production again?
I'm not sure how well they work, but I've seen lots of moms talking about lactation cookies. They are an oatmeal cookie and oatmeal is supposed to really help your milk supply. I don't really have a supply issue, but I'm going to make some to increase my supply so I can start pumping to have a backup supply.
Also, make sure to put the baby to your breast as much as possible, this should help too.
I have also had the same problem with my milk supply.I have about killedm y self nursing , bottle feeding, then pumping every two hours for a month straight. My son is now 8 weeks today and as of about 1 week ago I am finally producing enough to only supplement about 8ounces a day(I was supplementing about 18-22) . I also no longer have to pump or bottle feed at every sitting. I have tried many things but so far things that have helped me are, Fenugreek it's an herb you can get over the counter at any herb shop, it has helped me the most I think. Also my doctor prescribed Regalan for me that seems so have helped some.I used that as a last resort and it does not help everyone, I have only had little sucess with it . I have tried all of the old wives tales I could think of and I'm not sure anyhting has really helped (I eat oatmeal every morning and put thyme in everything) . I hope something helps you as well. Just keep trying if you are sick or had a tramatic birth (I ended up with over 200+ stiches and an infection) your body just may need to heal so keep trying and let your body heal first, that has helped me the most. I know that it has been a struggle for me but is worth it that I can provide at least some of the health benifits for my baby through nursing. Good luck!
I don't produce a ton of milk myself, but I have noticed that my body responds well to having a consistent schedule. I'm able to produce more if I try to pump around the same time of day for each session.
Good luck and try to not beat yourself up about this. Cutting back on stress probably helps too.

my mom says to drink hot chocolate or eat cabbage it worked for her as well as my sister so good luck i hope it works for you!
I've heard cabbage helps to dry up your supply? I have heard but don't know that you can put a leaf on your breast and it dries your supply up, makes me affraid to eat saurkraut ...I'm excited about he hot chocolate tho!
Try mother's milk tea, it worked for my mom. Always be mindfull of the different positions you hold your baby during feeding times. Milk ducts are just like muscles, the more you use them the better they are.
