I took my son for his shots yesterday, and while in the waiting room another mother was in disbelief that he was only 8 months old. We get that a lot because he looks so much bigger than most babies his age. He daughter was 6 months old and weighed 14lbs and was 24 inches long. When Danny went for his 6 month check up he weighed 25lbs and was 29 inches long. I held him and stepped on the scale about a month ago and he was up to 27.5lbs and was 31 inches long. I love my big healthy boy!

With a baby on the way and being very young, first time parents my husband and I were trying to think of ways to save money! We decided that instead of spending money on prepackaged things such as bread, peanut butter, granola bars, applesauce, yogurt and much more, we would make them at home! We found a ton of recipes and can’t wait to hit the grocery store for supplies! I hope we can pass the tradition on to our little girl and have some fun in the kitchen as a family!
