I think I’ve used every breastfeeding aid ever made. Best was nipple shields! Both my boys had big time latch issues and the nipple shields were a lifesaver. Also a medela breast pump- I use the single pump at home and a double electric at work. Most unlikely breastfeeding aid? Swaddle Design blankets. They are big enough to keep you comfortably covered while you nurse.

  12. Nipple guards. My son had a horrible latch, but I didn’t want to give up breastfeeding him. I got Avent breast shields. They were so comfortable and let me keep feeding my baby!
