Moms During Week 9

How are you doing? Are you tired and exhausted, or are you energetic and loving life as a new mommy? Don’t forget to take some time for yourself. Call your friends and schedule a lunch date, try out that new yoga class around the corner, or go see the new movie you’ve been dying to see! Just because you’re a mother now, it doesn’t mean that your previous life has to completely disappear.

Your baby’s two-month exam is approaching. The pediatrician will weigh and measure your baby to make sure he is growing at the proper rate. The pediatrician will also screen him for common infant health issues. Have you been writing down questions for your pediatrician? Don’t forget to take your list!

I hate taking her to the ped. I went there for the 2 month and they just were gonna go ahead and expect that I was going to let them stab her with a needle. It was really awkward when I told them I wasn’t comfortable with it.

I understand this feeling! If you can, try finding friends that have kids as well. Look around and you might find groups that get together in your area!
