I am 29 weeks pregnant with my first and am experiencing a lot of cramps and am feeling sick. From what I’ve read online about my symptoms, it seems as though I’m experience real contractions rather than braxton hicks. How can I really tell the difference?

Call your Dr and let him decide because throwing up sometimes happens on labor (not to scare you) better to be safe than sorry ma'am

I would defiantly go to the doctor. They can let you what's going on and rule out weather or not you are have real contractions or not.

By changing your activity you can tell whether it's true contractions or Braxton hicks. If you change activity and they stop then it's Braxton hicks.
